Taking Ownership!
An attitude of ownership and accountability in life and work doesn’t simply appear when responsibility is given. This training is focused around the process of taking ownership, whether of a specific policy, a relationship, or an organization overall. It also covers how ignorance and apathy can prevent us from investing ourselves in that process. We’ll discuss the importance of accountability, and its potential impact on a job, a career, a team, and company culture.

Jonathan Shipley
Jon trained more than 200 hours in 2018 alone, he is on the ESOP communication committee for AmeriBen, worked two years on other internal culture committees (one year as lead), and has 10 years teaching at a university level as well as sales, customer service, and branch management experience.
Program Details:
- Sessions are held in the meeting room on the second floor
- Event starts at 11:30 am and go to 1:00 pm
Our Chapter Meetings are a great opportunity to connect with talent development colleagues from across the area as well as to learn something new as each meeting focuses on a different topic related to our professions. Meetings take place the place the second Thursday of each month (except December) and are open to members and non-members alike.
